The Xpeng P7 has been released into the EU market quite recently, at least here in Belgium!
The first aspect that stood out to me were those scissor doors, just like what you'd find on a Lamborghini. For the rest, it had a rather desirable design inside and outside!
Based on price and segment, the Xpeng P7 competes against the Tesla Model 3, BYD Seal, BMW i4 and Polestar 2. Now I have to confess the Polestar 2 and BMW i4 do have the identity and desirability. But the Xpeng P7 is an interesting alternative!
Chinese car manufacturers have been offering great value for money, meaning they offer you far more equipment than what their price suggest. But they do tend to have an identity crisis. The design of their cars can resemble what other competitors have built.
