Analysts believe the China-Singapore Chongqing Connectivity Initiative has the potential to deepen ties on new fronts such as the green and digital economy. More than 300 projects have been signed under the initiative since it started 10 years ago. It initially focused on sectors such as aviation and logistics, but has since made progress in areas like healthcare. Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong said Singapore wants to work with China in areas like opening new pathways for investments and deepening trade ties. Both nations are celebrating 35 years of diplomatic ties this year. Tan Si Hui reports.
