"A wonderful Savior: Jesus my Lord" Hymnodist Celebration Concert | Aug 13, 2023
Nairobi Advent Ensemble (NAE) in conjunction with 2CBN TV is planning to host a hymn concert on Aug 13, 2023, aimed at celebrating the works of Hymnodists, past and present, and aimed at bringing together singers that enjoy and love hymnology to proclaim, “A wonderful savior: Jesus my Lord”.

This event is part of NAE & 2CBN TV Da Capo (Back to basics) agenda that seeks to promote quality choral music, and professionalism in the use of music as an instrument for the salvation of souls.

This event shall focus on the works of:
 Mwalimu Kibaso of Kurasini: Kaa nami; Kando ya mto; Sauti yangu bado ina nguvu; and Safari ya wana Israeli. To be sung by the mass choir

 Fanny Crossby: Redeemed (SDAH 338); He hideth my soul (SDAH 520); Usinipite mwokozi (NZK 22); Blessed assurance (SDA 462) and Waliokifoni (SDAH 56). These shall be sung by the congregation, led by the choristers but sung by the mass choir with correct notation.

 Wayne Hooper: When He comes and Na tumwabudu. Sung by NAE men.

 Thomas Achia: Vilindini mwa shida; and Mimi na Yesu. To be sung by the mass choir

 Doxologies: The Lord is in His Holy temple (SDAH 692); Sevenfold Amen (SDAH 664); The Lord bless you and keep you (SDAH 669)
