A while back we had a good customer bring in his Freightliner Argosy. Unfortunately the cab tilt hydraulic cylinders were leaking and one was bent so they were unusable. The OEM part was prohibitively expensive and weeks away, and the customer needed his truck. So, we took a pair of more common utility cylinders and modified them to fit the truck to get him going. As well, we got a new sticker for the sticker board.
Part 1 is the new sticker and some basic milling machine work on the cylinder end
Part 2 is lathe work on the cylinder mounts and safety guard, as well as some demonstration of where the cylinders go and what they do.
