IT hits the fan as we're less than 3 hours from our destination of Guatemala. Thunder and lightning surround the boat, waves and crashing over the bow threatening to rip off the dodger and bimini, wind is whipping up to 50+ knots, meanwhile the engine starts shaking and blowing smoke. We haven't slept more than a few hours in days and it's starting to take a toll.

It's been a blissful 6 days till now, and now we get a weeks worth of punishment in 72 hours.
