My drum cover version of Metallica's The Thing That Should Not Be.
Taken off their thrash masterpiece, Master Of Puppets, this track is chockful of cool drumming. It's a heavy song with heavy drums, so I figured I give it a try.
Lars gets a lot of flak for being a so-so drummer these days, but back then his stuff/style was groundbreaking. I always dug how he accented his drumming to James' rhythm guitar riffs. That's why I love the fadeout to this song especially.
Anyway, here's my attempt at it. Hope you dig it!
