In May 1962 a major milestone occurred in Puffing Billy's history - Steam returned to the Hills, with 7A's arrival at the 'new' Belgrave yard. There was no lack of volunteers volunteering to clean the old loco in preparation for the opening of the line to Menzies Creek in June.
