Today’s podcast is all about the vocabulary for the parts of our face, along with the word “ดี” (dee), which means “good.” How fun is it to combine two words into one with a completely new meaning? 😏

In this episode, besides learning new vocabulary, I hope you’ll also gain a better understanding of how straightforward Thai can be—and how it sometimes adds a playful twist. I love the Thai way of making words sound more pleasing. For instance, you can add “นะ” (ná) at the end of a sentence to make it sound extra friendly when complimenting someone!

Try mimicking my tones to help your throat muscles remember the sounds accurately. Trust me, learning Thai becomes much easier once you can clearly identify each tone. I’m also keeping the grammar simple, so even if you’re just starting out, you’ll enjoy listening and learning!

Don’t worry if you don’t catch everything, especially if it’s your first time listening to Thai. Focus on the tones and sounds, repeat my sentences out loud, and observe my gestures and examples. Remember, the best way to improve your listening is to ‘Keep Listening and Speaking Out Loud!’ I’ll make everything as clear and simple as possible!
