Quick & Easy Elevated Up-Do Holiday Hairstyle Tutorial

In this video tutorial, Lead Curlsmith Educator Sharley and Texture Specialist and Celebrity Hairstylist Anastasia Stylianou show us how to create an easy elevated up-do hairstyle on coily hair, a perfect look for the holiday season!

Step 2: Apply a little Curl Souffle to your fingertips and gently work the product through the roots, wiping through the hair to add more flexibility, especially the back of the hair. Curlsmith Curl Souffle: https://curlsmith.com/products/curl-s...

Step 3: Grab the hair to see the shape you could create. A lot of lift underneath the hair will help support the elevated up-do. Use pins to tightly secure the back of the hair in place.

Step 4: Repeat step 3 for both sides of your hair.

Step 5: Now, with the help of more pins, secure all the hair in place, pinching the hair together to shape your up-do.

Step 6: To expose the face, play, pull and lift your hair to frame the look in your desired way. More pinching and lifting can help you personalise the style further to compliment your outfit or makeup.

Step 8: To add extra details, depending on your outfit, play around with accessories. Visualise your desired look and start to gently introduce your chosen accessories such as hair grips, bows.
