Grilled Cod Sticky Sauce (Japanese style)

◎ cod 2 fillets
◎ 2 kind of mushroom 50g each
◯ black pepper
◯ salted butter 50g
◯ potato starch and water 1/2 tbsp each
Sauce
◯ water 100ml
◯ sake or white wine 1 tbsp
◯ soy sauce 1 tbsp
◯ sugar 1/2 tbsp
◯ Hondashi 1 tsp (any kind of powder dashi)
※ you can use corn starch instead of potato starch
① split 2 kind of mushrooms
② mix the seasoning and water for sauce
③ stir the potato starch and water
④ sprinkle with black pepper and potato starch over the cod.
⑤ melt the salted butter in a frying pan and cook the cod on medium heat. Take them out when both sides are browned and cooked through.
⑥ put all mushrooms in the same frying pan and cook on medium heat. turn off the heat when it boils. then add the potato starch dissolved in water and stir them.
⑦ pour the mushroom sauce over the cod.
