Dallas DART, Fort Worth Trinity Metro buses and trains, Trinity Railway Express (TRE), and McKinney Avenue Transit Authority in action in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area. Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is a public transit agency that serves mainly in the Dallas County area. DART is famously known to be the largest light-rail network in North America (almost 93 miles) and the fastest (speeding around 40-65 miles per hour). Thirty miles west is Trinity Metro, another public transit agency that serves mainly in the Tarrant County area (or Fort Worth).
