I got the chance to do some railfanning in Fort Lauderdale a bit later in the day after catching the Tri-Rail and Amtrak trains in Oakland Park. Here we see my first catch in nearly four years on the FEC, a northbound Brightline train with the usual pair of SCB-40s for power.

This crossing remains relatively unchanged since my last video here, other than the Western Cullen Hayes mechanical bell being replaced by a Siemens high tone electronic bell. I had noticed that it had kicked the bucket when I was last in Fort Lauderdale in 2021, though I never took a video during that visit.
