Garuda (ガルーダ, Garūda) is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first introduced in Final Fantasy III.

Initially depicted as a strong enemy with various bird-like attributes and Lightning-elemental attacks, the creature transitioned into a role as a recurring Wind-elemental summon, with its design solidifying as a female humanoid bird monster.
