The XT 1200 Z is a competent bike with a focus on touring and adventure riding. Comfortable and well equipped with rider aids and modern gadgetry for under £12000. It rides like a mature gentleman rather than a restless teenager. A worthy alternative for Honda Africa Twin, KTM 1290 Adventure, Ducati Multistrada 1200, Suzuki V-strom 1000, Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 or BMW R1200GS. The Super Tenere is slightly low on power and torque. However, if you want a shaft-drive motorcycle you'll have to consider this one along the Triumph and BMW.
