Someone's in the Kitchen! - Longplay

Someone's in the Kitchen! is a game developed by DreamWorks Interactive and released in 1996. The game's setting is a kitchen filled with personified appliances that the player can interact and cook with. There are two main ways to play: either cooking a recipe by following instructions from the cookbook, or freely combining ingredients in the 'mix and match' mode. In the mix and match mode, there are several recipes that can be discovered by finding certain combinations of ingredients, and will be unlocked in the 'discoveries' section of the cookbook after making them. Any other recipes that the player creates in the mix and match mode can be saved and named by the player, and will then be listed under 'creations' in the cookbook.

This video covers all of the recipes that can be created using the cookbook, including the 'discovery' recipes, which must be unlocked by finding special combinations of ingredients in the mix and match mode. After that, I made a few unique recipes in the mix and match mode, and explored some of the clickable areas around the main screen.
