Simple delicious umami vegetable stock recipe for restaurant quality food. Video contains voice over for added clarity
Ingredients
5 Litre Water
100g White Miso
200g Button Mushrooms
1 Large Onion
200g Celery
100g Carrots
4 Garlic Cloves
5g Thyme
3g Peppercorns
2 Bay Leaves
Steps
Cut all the veg roughly add everything in the pot
Add all other ingredients
Fill with water
Bring to a slow roll and let it simmer for about 2 hours
Don’t boil the stock as it will make the final product cloudy
Strain through a colander first
Then through a muslin cloth for clear stock
