In Part 1 of our reaction to KGF Chapter 2 we meet a new narrator who happens to be the son of the mysterious and infamous journalist from KGF Chapter 1.

With his epic voice we sift through doubts of the validity of this tale about Rocky the Untouchable criminal kingpin who rules what is now considered “El Dorado” the legendary city of gold!

It all seems like a modern crime fantasy, and while this kind of mind bending genre feels new to us, we already like the flow of this sequel more than KGF Chapter 1.

KGF chapter Part 1 shows us the reign of what seems to be an unstoppable Rocky, played masterfully Yash. The filmmaking feels more grounded with less erratic editing, and so making this fantastical characters far more relatable to us.

As we reach intermission we share some of our initial thoughts and fear up for Part 2 and Part 3 of our KGF chapter 2 reaction.
