In this video, I talk about the low-end torque of the Duke 390 Gen 3 and why it really isn’t as useful as it sounds on paper. In real traffic situations, it becomes a complete mess — the constant gear changes, the frequent clutch use, the slight discomfort at low speeds… it all adds up.
Now, I can control it pretty well, but that doesn’t change the fact that it gets irritating when you’re crawling through traffic and the bike just refuses to stay calm at low RPMs. If you’re someone who rides a lot in the city, you’ll definitely relate to this.
