Zoe Chan and CAL have studied dance and received formal dance training. CAL is a qualified dance teacher. Chan, is a musical theatre professional, who also plays the oboe. Together they founded Step Out Studios, a platform that teaches dance and produces performing arts events. Tap dance is one of their main focuses. Last month, they introduced electronic tape shoes to the Hong Kong public for the first time through the tap dance theatre production “The Next Movement” at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
