When the body of the prosecutor's wife, Diane Masters, is found in the trunk of her car in a canal, the two investigations intersect, exposing a conspiracy that led to the murder and subsequent $100,000 life insurance fraud.
The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
