General Vlasov: The Story of Betrayal.

General Vlasov - a despicable traitor or a hero fighting the Bolsheviks? Victim or criminal? Is it possible to fight one evil by allying with another? To oppose Stalin by serving Hitler?

In 1942, Vlasov was captured by the Germans, agreed to cooperate, attempted to create his own army, played his own game, hoping to break away from the Germans and receive support from the allies, but instead, in 1945, he was captured by Soviet forces, tried, and hanged.

This tragic story, nearly a century old, alas, has not lost its relevance. What compromises are acceptable in political struggle? With whom to form alliances, or not? These are the questions we still have to answer.
