On February 18, 2017 Lockport senior Trevell Timmons won a close hard fought 3-2 decision over Marmion junior Nate Jimenez. The pair exchanged escapes in the first two periods but it was Timmons who scored a crucial takedown late in the third period and held on for the victory. Next year Timmons will join the Lynx of Lincoln College while the Marmion junior Jimenez will return and hope to move up one more spot on the IHSA podium.
