Content and the Author Bio - Building a Better Blog Part 6

In this video, we'll go over creating content on the new blog and setting up the Simple Author Box plugin in WordPress. It's quite a flexible tool for setting up the author section.

Without content, a website is pretty useless. Today, I'll show you some of the tools I use to find good keywords and phrases as well as ideas for what to write. The last thing you want to do is suffer from writer's block.

This includes using things like Answer the Public, Google search, and Keywords Everywhere.

Then, we'll look at using royalty-free stock images. Personally, I'd rather use my own photos if possible. In reality, it adds to engagement if you're using real photos that no one has ever seen before. Still, stock photos work great to put emphasis on a new blog's content.

And lastly, we'll take a look at the Simple Author Box plugin and how to set it up. Adding things like social links to the bio can help get the author recognized and followed on other platforms. And Simple Author Box does a great job of getting those links out in front of the visitor.

In the next video, we'll set up Twitter, Facebook, and Push Notifications for Practically Living Green to start marketing its content to the masses.
