29 Pedals - JFET Boost Pedal // Full Demo

From 29 Pedals, JFET is—as its name suggests—a transistor-based boost pedal. It's a fairly clean boost, but it does impart a bit of character that reminds me a bit of a tube amp near the edge of breakup, with a more saturated, harmonically rich sound, great clarity, and the slightest bit of compression that makes for a very satisfying feel when playing.

In all honesty, boosts are tough to demo—especially ones with subtle character and aspects of "feel" to communicate. Just note that all of the overt dirt in this video comes from my boosting my EHX MIG-50, and I think you'll hear where JFET brings extra clarity and definition into the mix.
