About:
Persona 3 follows a group of high school students trying to cope with, understand and accept death in a world surrounded by it, as well as find their own reasons for living. They form a group called SEES in order to investigate the Dark Hour, a mysterious time period between one day and the next that few people are aware of. During the Dark Hour, SEES explores Tartarus, a large tower containing Shadows, creatures that feed on the minds of humans. To fight the Shadows, each member of SEES is able to summon a Persona, a manifestation of their inner self.

An enhanced version of the game containing an epilogue called The Answer was released as Persona 3 FES, also for the PlayStation 2. This version is available on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3.

A portable version of the original Persona 3, adding an optional female protagonist and visual novel type cutscenes was released as Persona 3 Portable for PlayStation Portable.

The protagonist of Persona 3 is a transfer student enrolling in Gekkoukan High School in Iwatodai City. He is an orphan whose parents died on the Moonlight Bridge in their car during a fatal incident a decade prior to the game.
In Persona 3 Portable, he has a female counterpart.

Yukari Takeba is a playable character from Persona 3. She is a student at Gekkoukan High School and a member of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad.

Junpei Iori is a character from Persona 3. He is a student at Gekkoukan High School and a member of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad.

The Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, (特別課外活動部, Tokubetsu Kagai Katsudou-bu)?, otherwise shortened to SEES, is an extracurricular after school club for Persona users at Gekkoukan High School in Persona 3. In the Persona 3 Manga, the fan translation of SEES is Special Extracurricular Execute Sector.
