Your bass filter might absolutely amaze you with a squelching, screeching, speaking, singing sound if you do somewhat the same thing.
I only pressed one note; the pitch movements are explained below.
EQ on the synth to mitigate the ultralows.
Send to Vintage Chorus (EQ cut on that), send to a reverb-ish delay (EQ cut on that).
Then pick a filter, set Waveshaper to soft for starters, crank the RES up and squelch away.
Very low saw notes will work wonders, cause you need something for the filter to underscore. The suggested "pitch" movements are just a filter cutoff point passing through a harmonic, rotating its phase. Done quick/slow enough, it'll get you a pitch movement. Saturation underscores it even more. Reverb and chorus come only AFTER the saturation, giving a cleaner and balanced sound (as opposed to unisons/chorus before the saturation, which would give very characteristic, but sometimes very dirty results; bad mono compatibility, too).
Lovely skin called Andromeda Wave by Nordmann:

It comes in mono colors, too.
