Using a 360 camera on a steam engine can give you some amazing views.
No, not a drone video. With the upcoming release of the new Antigravity A1 360 drone I thought I would play with some 360 footage to see how easy (or hard) it is to edit.
I used an Insta360 x3 camera, filmed in 5.7K, then edited in the Insta Studio program and exported to Davinci Resolve Studio in Pro Res 422 format.
My next video I will use just the plug in for Davinci Resolve and skip the Insta Studio app to compare the difference and ease of use.
I found the Insta Studio app fairly easy to use once you get to know the little things you have to do to make the footage smoother. It takes some learning but I'm getting there now.
This film is of the Epping and Ongar Railway during the 200 years of railways event. I met Piglet from the North York Moors Railway while I was there. Very pleasant chap to talk to.
