Pudu Unveils Semi-Humanoid Robot Following 90,000 Unit Sales

Pudu Robotics, founded in Shenzhen in January 2016, initially specialized in food delivery robots. Notable investors included Tencent, Meituan, HongShan. Many recognize the brand probably because its use in popular hotpot chain, Haidilao.

According to its WeChat account, Pudu Robotics has shipped over 90,000 units (its website still says 80,000 units ) to a variety of markets, with a presence in more than 60 countries and regions worldwide.

On March 31, 2025, Pudu Robotics introduced its embodied AI for services,
FlashBot Arm. This semi-humanoid features specialized delivery capabilities. It can autonomously recognize environments, understand tasks, and execut them with precision, as stated by the company. RoboSpeak, an information portal, said Pudu Robotics has applied DeepSeek to achieve effortless human-robot communication.

Featuring 7-DOF Arms with a 2-meter operating diameter, FlashBot Arm handles diverse tasks. it also employs 3D mapping for precise navigation and obstacle avoidance.

Pudu Robotics claims FlashBot Arm is the world's first humanoid service robot with embodied intelligence for commercial use. However, it’s more actually describe as semi-humanoid.
