Dr Fraser Diagram is in Manchester, to visit The Hacienda nightclub on Whitworth Street West. The club, opened by Factory Records in 1982, is already an integral part of the growing Manchester music scene. He chats to Ben Kelly, the architect whose bold interior design choices give The Hacienda its unique feel, and to Factory Records founder Tony Wilson about the importance of building 'cathedrals' for youth culture.
