Welcome to the 2024 Ferrari Finali Mondiali at Imola, a week‑long celebration at the legendary Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. From October 15 to 21, the event transformed the circuit into a vibrant showcase of speed, passion, and automotive excellence.

More than 80 296 Challenge cars from Trofeo Pirelli clashed in high-stakes competition, while F1 Clienti, XX Programme, Sport Prototipi Clienti, and Club GT teams filled paddocks and track with over 120 Ferraris in dynamic motion.

The highlight arrived on Sunday with the spectacular Ferrari Show — a parade through Imola’s town center featuring two victorious 499P Hypercars and championship‑winning 296 GT3s crossing the bridge over the Santerno before powering onto the circuit amidst thunderous applause. Despite rain showers, over 33,000 passionate fans packed grandstands and streets, united by their love for the Prancing Horse.

Race finale drama unfolded as champions were crowned in the Trofeo Pirelli and Coppa Shell finals. In unpredictable conditions, tyre strategy and safety car interventions made the difference. James Owen battled to Pirelli AM victory, Bence Valint triumphed in Trofeo Pirelli, Henry Hassid impressed in Coppa Shell, and Eric Cheung took the Coppa Shell AM crown.

Finali Mondiali 2024 was more than a racing event — it was a global reunion of the Ferrari family. From roaring V8 and V12 engines to prototypes whispering future performance, from aerial displays to historic tributes, the spirit of Ferrari ignited Imola with unmatched emotion and spectacle.

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale marks a revolutionary milestone in Ferrari’s history: its first ever plug‑in hybrid road car, launched in 2019 from Maranello. Powered by a 4.0‑litre twin‑turbo V8 producing 780 PS and paired with three electric motors (one between engine and gearbox plus two on the front axle), its total output reaches an astounding 1,000 PS. This makes it the most powerful road Ferrari ever built.

Acceleration benchmarks are jaw‑dropping: 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, while 0 to 200 km/h takes around 6.7 seconds. The top speed exceeds 340 km/h. The 7.9 kWh lithium‑ion battery provides up to 25 km of electric-only driving in eDrive mode, with the two front motors enabling pure EV traction and even managing reverse gear—eliminating the need for a mechanical reverse gear.

The hybrid architecture is managed seamlessly via the new eManettino on the steering wheel, offering four drive modes: eDrive (fully electric), Hybrid (automated efficiency management), Performance (battery charging prioritized for immediate power), and Qualify (full system power release for maximum output).

Chassis and layout combine aluminium and carbon fibre to maintain a dry weight around 1,570 kg, with a balanced weight distribution of approximately 45 % front, 55 % rear. The bespoke 8‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox integrates the MGUK electric motor from Formula 1, and by excluding a mechanical reverse gear it reduces weight and center of gravity.

Inside, the SF90 Stradale embraces a driver-centric digital interface: a wide 16‑inch curved display, capacitive touch controls on the steering wheel, and F1-derived ergonomics ensure total immersion. Technology like Side Slip Control and torque vectoring allow maximum grip and precision whether in silent city cruising or full-throttle acceleration.

Though not a strictly limited edition, the SF90 lineup includes track-enhanced variants such as the pours‑route Spider and the even more exclusive SF90 XX Stradale spin‑offs. Production continues into the mid‑2020s before Ferrari transitions to its next generation of hybrid and electric hypercars.
