Davis Peak, Cle Elum Area - Washington State

Davis Peak, is a multi-summit mountain located near Cle Elum. It was named in honor of Louie Davis. The scramble to the central peak is not technical and offers beautiful 360 panoramic views of many peaks including Snoqualmie Mountain, Mount Daniel, Rainier, Stuart, Terence and many others. Hiking to Davis Peak takes quite a bit of effort due to the 4000' plus elevation gain. Navigating the many switchbacks is physically demanding but the ascent is not very steep. During the summer months, wildfires can lead to smoky conditions with limited visibility. It's important to not only check the weather forecast, but also fire or smoke advisories before starting your hike. Additionally, make sure you're well-prepared with proper hiking gear, including plenty of water, snacks, and navigation aids. If you're looking for a good workout hike with rewarding views, Davis Peak near Cle Elum is a great choice.
