HOMEOWNER CALLS POLICE — She WON’T LEAVE the Property

After a resident called for help about someone who wouldn’t leave their property, officers were dispatched to the scene to check it out.

According to the police report, the resident told officers the person had crossed onto private property past a posted boundary and refused multiple requests to leave. When the officer arrived, they made contact with the individual near the property line and spoke with the resident to confirm what happened. The report notes posted “no trespassing” signage in the area.

The resident provided a sworn statement describing the encounter and said the individual remained on the property even after repeated warnings to leave. Based on the information gathered at the scene, the officer took the individual into custody and placed her in the patrol vehicle while continuing the investigation.

The report also notes the individual had a purse and identified it as her personal property. A search conducted in connection with the arrest is documented in the report, including items the officer said were located inside the purse. The report further documents follow-up testing related to those items.

Court records show the case later went through the court process and concluded with a guilty plea. The court adjudicated guilt and imposed a 51-day jail sentence with credit for time served, along with additional court-ordered fees and conditions.
