大福寺（富山県）

「分け登る麓の道は多けれど 同じ高嶺の月を見るかな」
『食心奉納』いたしました
奉納は仏を賛美する姿です
この行いに禅や西・東の区別はありません
ただ一心に仏に捧げる奉納です
「食心(じきしん)」とは食礼の型です
失われてしまった尊い作法を
余すところなくこの型に込めました
先人が今日まで磨いてきた心の形です
今日まで積み重ねてきた心は
仏に捧げるに相応しい美です

"Though there are many ways to climb up from the bottom, seeing
the same moon on a lofty dream." I dedicated a "mind of food."
Dedication is an attitude to praise the Buddha. This doesn't make
any distinction between west and east. This is only to offer a
fervent prayer to the Buddha. "Mind of food" is a ceremonial way
of showing appreciation. All valuable rules of behavior that has
lost are put into this manner. This is the shape of ancestors'
hearts that have been brushed to the present. The hearts
accumulated until today are beauty that are appropriate to
dedicate to the Buddha.
