William Walker Atkinson's "Study of the Hermetic Philosophy", while not orthodox Hermetism, provides an account of spiritual alchemy, or the relation of alchemy and spirituality, as found modern occultism, New Thought, and broader Hermeticism. Though, some ideas, like the Principle of Mentalism, and the concept of "as above, so below", are genuinely Hermetic in this historical sense.
