Yep. Despite everything I have investigated so far, I have not corrected the bouncing idle on my 2000 Accord. During the investigation I have found some issues with the engine, but until now, I have not pinpointed the problem.
Here I am going to investigate methodically instead of just chasing what the DTC said was wrong. I suggest you do the same!
If this did not work, you would need to begin exploring a mechanical issue like jumping time on the timing belt, or worse, a head or valve problem.
There are many ways to "skin the cat" and these are the methods that I use. Any criticisms or alternate methods posted in the comments are welcome, just keep it civil.
