ATV Side By Side Trail Run Folly Mountain to Nutby Warming Hut

In this video, my riding partner and I wanted to make the drive up towards Cumberland county to the Fundy snowmobile club in order to ride the trails and do a counter clock wise loop starting from Folly Mountain and have lunch at Nutby Mountain warming hut, then finishing off the run via North Shore clubhouse and down towards Old Debert Rd.

The track was based of a ATV rally in 2022, and we made some changes along the way based on time and access. But basically we were on the 104 trail for the majority other than the outbound way where we jumped on the 302, 301 and 401 trails to create the loop. Considering that the trails here are primarily for snowmobiles, not all trails we found were passable or even some were gated.

The areas trails are maintained mainly by the Fundy, North Shore and Sutherland Lakes snowmobile groups.

Nutby Mountain has a small windmill farm but I remember talk of two other projects, mainly the wind ridge and kutmut project where up to 22 windmills will be scattered along the hilltops. it will be interesting to see how that affects trail access as they will need to build up a proper road network for maintenance.

Cellular service is 99% unavailable, there were two signs indicating that cell reception could be possible depending on your carrier. I was using Bell and coverage was barely useable in these spots. InReach orZOLEO would be somthing to pack.

Trail conditions overall were really good. The majority of the trail were a combination of old camp roads, gov dirt roads or wood lot roads. The section around Clear lake would be the only one were we found things to be more technical but is not an issue.
