GAME ON! Gaming Laptop GPU Repair SUCESS!

I had received another Dell laptop repair from a subscriber, so I decided to see what was wrong with this one. His note mentioned that his Dell G-Series 5587 gaming laptop would shut down suddenly while playing games. I got it booted up and ran the FurMark GPU stress test on it. And... within 45 seconds of running this on the GPU, the current started to drop, and the laptop began to lag then shut off. The integrated Nvidia GPU was failing, and the easiest way to fix this issue would have been to replace the motherboard. But I chose to fix it the hard way. I pulled the board out and got it under the microscope. One of these four dual MOSFETs powering the GPU was dying, but I wasn't sure which one, so I decided to replace all of them to prevent a future breakdown. And now that I had a set of new Vcore MOSFETs installed, it was time to test. And... Awesome...

I had fixed the laptop the hard way.
