After leaving home at 4.30am (without telling his lovely wife Karen), he took off to the Western Treatment Plant on New Year's Eve with the hope of seeing just one last species of bird to add to his yearly list before the end of 2022.

Will he see that Australasian Bushlark he desperately wants to see?? Will he get away with leaving his gorgeous wife home alone to plan a New Year's Eve party?
