Off the back of her double bilingual release ‘I Won’t Go/If You Don’t’ last year, Malaysian pop starlet SHN is dropping her lead English single ‘Happier With Her’ as a precursor to her upcoming album today (17th January 2019) with an accompanying music video to follow on Sunday (20th January 2019).

As an artist, SHN has been in and around the scene for several years now, previously appearing as Chloe Soh, with a focus on more acoustic singer-songwriter material. However, with her adoption of the SHN pseudonym also comes a change of pace for her music, with her tracks now boasting some serious future pop vibes, and painting a more current backdrop for her form of storytelling. ‘Happier With Her’ is a prime example of her evolution as an artist, taking her honest songwriting and pushing the boundaries of local pop music with thoughtful, yet danceable arrangements.
