Canary Wharf started off as a financial district in the 90s with then the tallest building, One Canada Square, opened in 1991. Since then this place has grown significantly and now offers around 16,000,000 sq ft of office and retail space and has a resident population of around 75,000.
I walked around some of the most iconic paths and buildings in this fascinating part of London.
