MOOER: Micro Preamp REGAL TONE

The Micro Preamps Regal Tone is a tiny but powerful recreation of a classic US 'boutique' combo, that tips its hat to the tweeds and brownfaces of yore. It offers neat cleans and the small-combo crunch that the real amp is known for, in a two-channel configuration, with or without cabinet simulation, for direct or power amp/cab use.

For this video I have chosen to run the Micro Preamp Regal Tone directly to my Mbox 3 Pro soundcard to show off all of its features. You could, if you wished, run it without the Cab Sim engaged to the effects return of your guitar amplifier and use the footswitch as a channel selector (can also be used as standard ON/OFF switch).

Do the Micro Preamps sound good? I think they sound great. As an inexpensive alternative to a real amp they compete very strongly indeed.
