Intervento del Porfessor Enrico Dassori al XVI Congresso sulla prefabbricazione in cemento armato di CSG Engineering che si è svolto presso l'Abazzia di Chiaravalle della Colomba - Alseno - Piacenza - ITALY.

Il prefabbricato, in Europa e in Italia, segue un processo evolutivo che inizia nei primi dieci anni del novecento e prosegue fino ad oggi in linea con i progressi tecnologici e l’evoluzione del pensiero architettonico.
La relazione del Prof. Dassori prende in esame tre fattori che hanno determinato un brusco cambio di direzione rispetto al passato:
1) La crisi dello storicismo e la semplificazione delle forme
2) La nuova tipologia degli edifici per l’industria
3) Il definitivo affermarsi del cemento armato

Prefabrication, in Europe and in Italy, has followed an evolutionary process that began in the early years of the twentieth century and has continued to the present day, in line with technological progress and the evolution of architectural thought.
Professor Dassori’s lecture examines three factors that marked a sharp change of direction compared to the past:

1. The crisis of historicism and the simplification of forms
2. The new typology of industrial buildings
3. The definitive affirmation of reinforced concrete
