Loosey Goosey | Daytona Tamworth DMAX SuperChamps S2 Round 3

Alright, speedy upload this time round, this race literally happened today and didn’t wanna waste any time with this one!

Been about a month or so since Round 2, haven’t been racing in the meantime, was feeling very eager to have a better round after the shambles of the previous one (it’s racing, it happens).

Sadly, Daytona decided to scrap the other alternate layout which was planned for this round due to safety reasons and the remaining rounds of this championship will be normal layout, bit of a shame but do love the OG layout so all good.

On this round itself, it was the GP format as opposed to heats, which is a lot more straight forward and I do prefer it, track was pretty green for the first race and I was struggling with the rear end mid corner, quailed P5 and finished P5 for the first race, pretty straightforward.

For the final, managed to capitalise on a poor start from P4, track had begin to improve grip wise and felt a bit more of a rhythm despite still struggling with the rear end a tad, it was a very cold day here which takes into account for this, i was driving in a big gap in front and behind until P2 and P3 had a coming together towards the end of this race and really tried my best to make the most of this incase of any potential penalties but sadly finished 1.3 secs off of P2 and 3 as P2 got a 5-second pen, but was still fun regardless, only managed a 56.0 for my fastest lap this race, eager to build off of this for the upcoming rounds as we step into colder conditions💪🏻

Next round is in 3 weeks time, will be heats format where anything can happen as shown last round, but gonna give it all as always!
