Simple Chicken Chow Mein at Home | Easy & Delicious 🍜 | Fatima cooking and eat
Today I am making simple and tasty Chicken Chow Mein at home. This recipe is easy and perfect for daily cooking.
Ingredients needed:
Macaroni
3 liters water
Chicken (cut into small pieces)
½ cup oil
1 onion (chopped)
1 carrot (chopped into small pieces)
1 capsicum / shimla mirch (chopped)
Ginger
1 tsp black pepper (kali mirch)
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp salt
(Optional: chili sauce, soy sauce, vinegar — I did not add these because I like it simple, but you can add if you like.)
Method / Steps:
Step 1:
Take 3 liters of water in a cooking pot and boil it. Add the macaroni and cook on low heat until it becomes soft. Drain the water and keep the macaroni aside.
Step 2:
In another pan, heat ½ cup oil. Add the small pieces of chicken and cook until the chicken changes color.
Step 3:
Now add onion, carrot, capsicum (shimla mirch), and ginger. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
Step 4:
Add 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp red chili powder. Mix everything nicely.
Step 5:
Add the boiled macaroni and mix well. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
(If you like, you can add chili sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar at this stage.)
Your simple homemade Chicken Chow Mein is ready to serve. Enjoy!
