I traveled from Hyderabad to Nagpur by Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express. The train was late. I had booked a seat in 3rd AC. But once I got inside, I was shocked! A group of people were occupying my seat and berth. They were behaving like I had gone to sit on their seat. After arguing for a while, I realized that there was no point. So I told the TTE about my situation. Luckily, there was a seat available in the 1st AC coupe and he shifted me from there. So I had a pleasant trip totally unexpected. But imagine, I couldnt sit in a seat that I had paid and booked for me. Just because of the attitude of co-passengers. I wonder why are some people like this!

ഹൈദരാബാദിൽ നിന്നും നാഗ്പൂരിലേക്ക് കർണാടക സമ്പർക്ക്ക്രാന്തി എക്സ്പ്രസ്സിലാണ് ഞാൻ യാത്ര ചെയ്തത്. പക്ഷേ ട്രെയിൻ ലേറ്റായിട്ടാണ് വന്നത്. തേർഡ് എസിയിലായിരുന്നു ഞാൻ സീറ്റ് ബുക്ക് ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ അതിനകത്തേക്ക് കയറിയ ഞാൻ ഞെട്ടിപ്പോയി! ഒരുകൂട്ടമാളുകൾ എന്റെ സീറ്റും ബെർത്തുമൊക്കെ കൈയടക്കി വെച്ചിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അവരുടെ ഇടയ്ക്ക് ഞാൻ ശല്യമായി കയറിചെന്നപോലെയായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ പെരുമാറ്റം. കുറച്ചു തർക്കിച്ചെങ്കിലും പിന്നീട് രക്ഷയില്ലെന്ന് മനസ്സിലായതോടെ ഞാൻ അവിടെ നിന്നും മാറി ടിടിഇയെ കണ്ട് കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞു. എന്തോ ഭാഗ്യത്തിന് ഫസ്റ്റ് എസി കൂപ്പെയിൽ ഒരു സീറ്റ് ഒഴിവുണ്ടായിരുന്നതിനാൽ അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ അതിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. അങ്ങനെ ഒട്ടും പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാതെ നല്ല സുഖകരമായ യാത്ര ലഭിച്ചു. എന്നാലും ഒന്നോർക്കണേ, ഞാൻ പൈസ കൊടുത്ത് ബുക്ക് ചെയ്ത സീറ്റിലിരിക്കാൻ എനിക്ക് സാധിച്ചില്ല. അതും യാത്രക്കാരുടെ തിണ്ണമിടുക്ക് കാരണം. എന്താണ് നമ്മുടെ ആളുകൾ ഇങ്ങനെ?
