Raised Cactus Bed in the UK: Winter Results & Future Plans

In this video, I remove the overhead winter shelter from my outdoor arid bed — a raised gravel garden here in the UK where I grow hardy cacti and succulents year-round.

I assess the shelter’s performance, talk through potential design improvements for next year, and take a look at what survived — and what didn’t — after a wet, cold British winter. There are some surprises along the way, and I also share my planting plans for the upcoming season.
