Dolphin Hunter Manipulates A Dead Striped Dolphin Calf

On Jan. 5, when this pod of striped dolphins was driven into the cove, there appeared to be several young dolphins in the pod. One of them floated motionlessly, and not breathing at the surface of the water for a long period of time. One of the hunters got a hold of the dolphin, and held it and moved it in a way as if to make it look as though the dolphin were still alive until another group of hunters came and took the dolphin in a black net, and dragged it to the tarped area where the rest of the pod was being slaughtered. It is not uncommon for dolphins to die during the drive hunt process, as it causes an alarming deal of physical and mental stress.
