Fortune Flavours - Phuket Old Town Part 2 - Soi Romanee and Torry's Ice Cream Parlour.

Welcome to part two of the Fortune Flavours Phuket Old Town tour. Today we visit the Thai Hua Museum which used to be the Hokkien Chinese school in Phuket. We then take a trip to Soi Romanee and see the bright-coloured guest houses that used to be brothels and casinos. Here we taste the ultimate dessert in Phuket... the Bi Co Moi a combination of black glutinous rice and coconut milk with coconut ice cream. We then take a trip to the On On Hotel which was famously the filming location for the incredible film The Beach. This film was based on an Alex Garland book that chronicles young people who fall on hard time whilst searching for paradise.
