Title: Growth and Decomposition of the SEI, and their Contribution to Thermal Runaway
Ulrike Krewer is a full professor and head of the Institute for Applied Materials – Electrochemical Technologies at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Her group establishes and uses models from surface to cell level, as well as operando and dynamic analysis methods to reveal complex reactions, performance limitations and the degradation/state of cells and electrodes, and to optimize design and operation. Complex reaction networks are also in the focus of her thermal abuse analysis of batteries. Ulrike is author of ca. 200 publications, editor of Electrochimica Acta, co-speaker of the Cluster4Future “Electrifying technical Organic Synthesis”, PI and board member of the Cluster of Excellence “Post Lithium Storage”, and co-chair of the 76th ISE Annual Meeting
