The Australian native Eucalytus genus of trees of more than 700 unique species are an enormous resource of floral resources for beekeepers. Every species produces a unique flavoured, coloured and textured honey from the very mild and smooth flavour to the very dark and robust. This video aims to provide some techniques and tricks that we use to accurately identify the trees within out floral territory in Australia and help us plan where to place our honeybees. In this video, we are on private property so are NOT beaking any laws relating to the use of fire arms. Dave is a registered firearms user and take every safety precaution required.
